Hitnadvut - הִתְנַדְּבוּת
Pronunciation: Hit·nad·vut
Literal translation: Volunteering
Hitnadvut is an integral part of the Israeli culture, be it in the army, day to day life, part of university scholarships, or even in school.
In fact, every kid in Israel must complete a certain amount of hitnadvut hours in school, in order to receive a matriculation certificate (Teudat Bagrut).
