Karon Measef - קָרוֹן מְאַסֵּף

Pronunciation: Ka·ron me·a·sef

Literal translation: Caboose

It's a shame that, caboose, one of our favorite words in English, doesn't sound as cool in Hebrew.

On the trains in Israel, you can pay an extra few shekels to sit in the karon measef, a designated quiet part of the train, where no talking or any noise-making is allowed.
