Kolbo - כֹּלְבּוֹ
Pronunciation: Kol·bo
Literal translation: Grocery store, supermarket, hardware store
On almost every kibbutz in Israel, you can find a kolbo. In kibbutz Hebrew lingo, a kolbo is the local grocery store. Sometimes the food in the store is subsidized by the kibbutz, sometimes it's only partially subsidized, and sometimes it is just like a regular shop.
It really depends on the kibbutz.
