Mapal - מַפָּל
Pronunciation: Ma·pal
Literal translation: Waterfall
Israel isn't really known for its abundance of water, but it still has some neat water sources, including some cool mapalim.
The tallest waterfall in Israel is Mapal Nahal Kedem in the Judean Desert at 330 meters, but it usually only runs after there are floods. The tallest active waterfall in Israel is Mapal Nahal Gamla in the Golan Heights at 52 meters. It might not sound too impressive, but it is our little gem.
