Shofar - שׁוֹפָר
Pronunciation: Sho·far
Literal translation: Horn, ram's horn
You probably already know that a shofar is a traditional Jewish artifact, but the word has another meaning in Hebrew.
To call someone a shofar, means you are actually calling him a brownnose, or a kiss-up. For example, a reporter that only reports one-sided news is often referred to as a shofar.
